I created a series of 12 christmas cards highlighting how are feelings towards christmas change as we age. Starting with 'magical' and working it's way up to 'overrated'. Keeping the design simple with a cutout word, and icon in the top right corner.

Typography; the start of an obsession
Typography is one of the fundamental aspects of Graphic Design, having an understand of how to handle type is essential if you want to create successful designs. When I first started looking at typography I created these individual letterforms, changing a 2D letter into a 3D design.
Typography has become an obsession of mine. Spotting text that isn't properly kerned has become a past time.
Life Drawing
A selection of Life drawings that I created last year.
I've not posted anything on here for a very long time, so I'm going to spend some time getting this page up to date with any work that I've created in the past year.

Self Portrait
Using pencil crayon is something I discovered I could do in one of my life drawing classes. So I decided to incorporate this into my self portrait, placing the words to best describe me within my hair.
Words on Books
I wrote the word "explore" into the pages of this book, although it did not turn out as well as I'd hoped I think the idea behind it was strong and if it looked more visually pleasing it would have been a much greater piece of work.
Pussycat, Pussycat.
With some heavy influence from Rob Ryan I decided to create this for the visual poetry topic of my course. I used the white on white paper because I just love the shadows that are created. Considering it is all hand cut, it only took about an hour.
Here is another of my outcomes. I took a poem by Tim Burton and transferred it onto this bag. This was not just about the image itself and how it looked but more about the functionality of the piece.
